CANCELLATION / CLOSURE / TERMINATION POLICY

Please Note:
All payments made to Cubo Markets are irreversible and non-negotiable. Any completed payment transaction cannot be cancelled, disputed or reversed. All transactions are voluntarily initiated and completed by you, and you unconditionally accept the irreversible nature of the transaction. Your funds are credited to your investment or trading account with us as soon as your payment transaction is successful, and your account statement reflects your updated balance immediately.
Account Termination, Cancellation or Closure, in the context of your agreement with us, means the stopping of all activity in your trading account held with Cubo Markets and requesting the withdrawal of any available balances in the account. Available balances are calculated as per the terms explained below, the general terms and conditions, and/or all other applicable clauses such as the AML policy, KYC policy, terms and conditions of any promotion being used in your account, and all other operational clauses that govern your agreement with Cubo Markets. Account Cancellation, Closure or Termination does not imply the stoppage of a recurring subscription service or billing cycle. All deposit transactions made into your account are irreversible and non- cancellable under any condition. It is not possible to cancel or reverse any payment transaction you have made towards adding money into your trading account with Cubo Markets.
Cubo Markets does not provide any service or product where you are billed on an ongoing basis, and no transaction occurs unless initiated and completed by you. We do not ask for or save any user payment data and no payment transaction occurs unless a user conducts it using secure 3DS gateways or equivalent secure payment infrastructure. All funds are deposited by you willingly and knowingly, into your online trading account held with Cubo Markets. All deposits are made further to your understanding and accepting the risks of financial investing, and with the full knowledge that you may lose all your invested funds due to your investing activity, with no liability due upon Cubo Markets whatsoever.
Attempting to reverse, cancel or dispute a payment transaction via your payment service provider, before or after you have completed the payment transaction and/or started investment or trading activity in your trading account with Cubo Markets, shall be considered an act of fraud, in breach of the provisions of your agreement with Cubo Markets, and we reserve the right to file legal proceedings against you in any and all jurisdictions we consider suitable to recover the costs of any damages (financial or otherwise) incurred by us because of any such attempts. -
TERMINATION PROCEDURE
You may choose to close, cancel or terminate your agreement with us at any time. Such cancellation, termination or closure means that you would no longer like to use the online trading service we provide. To complete this process, you are obligated to follow the procedure below.
1. Immediately cease any activity in your account with us, or on our site or trading platform.
2. Send us a written request via email to [email protected] with the clear subject "Account Closure / Service Termination" and a clear instruction stating that: "I, ______________________________ (your full name as it appears on your KYC documents and any payment method used to transfer funds to Cubo Markets), holder of account ID (mention your account ID allotted to you after completing your registration with us), would like to request immediate closure of my aforesaid account."
3. Ensure you have no open positions or other liabilities in your account (any amount payable to Cubo Markets for having previously used our services or products in any manner).
4. We shall respond to your email with a confirmation, within two (2) business days, that your account has been closed and there is no further liability due upon you. We shall also inform you of your available balances (if any) that you may request to be sent back to you.
Please Note: we shall send your available funds (if any) back via the same method of payment as has been used when making the payment to us.
5. Should you wish to avoid any further communication related to the Company such as new products, services and/or offers, you can inform us that you do not wish to receive any further communication from us and would like to have all your previous information deleted from our records (subject to mandatory retention periods imposed by applicable AML, regulatory or other legal obligations). We shall comply with the said instruction and inform you of its execution in writing. -
IMPORTANT NOTES
The termination, cancellation or closure of an account or of any service provided by us takes effect from the date of notification when you communicate your intention to cease using our services. Any financial obligation, transaction or liability entered into before the date of notification stands in full, and you accept your liability to pay in full all such dues and liabilities that may exist in your relationship with us, up to the date of termination.
You agree unconditionally to fulfil all your financial and legal obligations to us as exist on or before the date of closure, termination or cancellation.
In the event that you have incurred any losses, costs or expenses in your online trading activity on our website or trading platform prior to the date of closure, cancellation or termination, you have no claim whatsoever towards the funds lost. If you have any open positions at the time of your request to close, cancel or terminate the account, you are fully responsible for any unrealised losses contained therein.
You hereby agree that should there be any differences in understanding with respect to any transactions or balances in your account, you shall clarify the matter directly with us.
You further commit unconditionally not to engage in any attempt to dispute any payments made to us through your bank, payment service provider, card provider, other financial institution or legal body, and to only communicate with us directly on such matters in writing — by emailing us at [email protected]. -
WITHDRAWAL OF AVAILABLE BALANCES
Where you have available balances at the time of closure, the following conditions apply to the return of those funds:
• Funds are returned exclusively to the same payment method used for the original deposit ("closed-loop" principle), to the extent technically and legally possible.
• If the original payment method is no longer available (for example, an expired card or a closed bank account), Cubo Markets reserves the right to request alternative verified payment details belonging to the same legal account holder, and to perform additional KYC checks before processing the return.
• Withdrawal requests will only be processed once your identity verification (KYC), source-of-funds documentation and any other required compliance checks are completed to our satisfaction.
• Any applicable third-party transaction fees, conversion costs or bank charges may be deducted from the amount returned. • Cubo Markets does not guarantee specific processing times beyond the timelines indicated for our internal response. Settlement times of intermediary banks, card schemes, payment processors and correspondent banks are outside of our control. -
BONUSES, PROMOTIONS AND CREDITS
Any bonus amounts, promotional credits, cashback amounts, rebates or similar benefits that have been credited to your account as part of any marketing promotion offered by Cubo Markets are governed by the specific terms and conditions of that promotion (and by clause 32 of the Cubo Markets Terms and Conditions). Such amounts are not considered part of your available balances for the purposes of withdrawal unless and until the conditions of the relevant promotion have been fully met. Upon closure, cancellation or termination of the account, any unrealised bonus or promotional credit may be forfeited in accordance with the applicable promotion terms, and Cubo Markets accepts no liability for the loss of such benefits.

DORMANT AND INACTIVE ACCOUNTS
If there are no transactions on your account for at least one (1) year, or if your account balance is USD 50.00 (United States Dollars Fifty only) or less, you will be subject to a dormant account fee, in return for administrative and informational services and/or access provided by Cubo Markets to active accounts.
The dormant account fee will be equal to the lesser of the remaining balance in your account or USD 50.00, as the case may be. Upon assessment of the dormant account fee, your account will automatically be closed in accordance with the procedure described above, and you will be notified by email of such closure. -
TERMINATION BY CUBO MARKETS
Cubo Markets reserves the right to terminate, cancel or close your account at any time, with immediate effect or with a notice period as indicated in the notification of termination, in any of the following circumstances (without limitation):
• breach by you of any provision of the Cubo Markets Terms and Conditions or any related policy;
• breach of any applicable law or regulation, including without limitation anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorist-financing, sanctions or KYC obligations;
• provision by you of inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information at onboarding or during the relationship;
• any reasonable suspicion of fraud, market abuse, manipulation, arbitrage practices not permitted by our Terms and Conditions, or abuse of bonus or promotional schemes;
• inability to verify your identity or source of funds to our satisfaction;
• any order, instruction or requirement of a competent court, regulator or other public authority;
• any other reason that Cubo Markets, acting reasonably, considers to require the closure of the account in order to protect its legitimate interests or the integrity of its services.
Where Cubo Markets terminates the account on its own initiative, any available balances will be returned in accordance with the rules set out in the "Withdrawal of Available Balances" section above, subject always to the satisfaction of all outstanding obligations of the client towards Cubo Markets and to applicable law. -
CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
You expressly acknowledge and agree that any chargeback request, payment dispute, recall or reversal initiated through your card issuer, bank, payment processor or any other financial institution in respect of funds transferred to Cubo Markets constitutes a material breach of your agreement with us and a violation of this Policy. In such cases, in addition to any other remedies available to us under the Cubo Markets Terms and Conditions and applicable law, Cubo Markets reserves the right to:
• immediately suspend or close the account and freeze any available balances pending investigation;
• recover from you all costs, fees, fines, penalties and reasonable legal expenses incurred by Cubo Markets in defending the dispute or recovering the disputed amount;
• report the conduct to relevant card schemes, payment networks, fraud-prevention databases, regulators and law-enforcement authorities;
• commence civil or criminal proceedings in any jurisdiction we consider suitable;
• offset any disputed amounts against any other funds, balances or claims that you may have against Cubo Markets.
You undertake to communicate any genuine concerns regarding transactions, balances, withdrawals or service quality exclusively and directly to Cubo Markets in writing at [email protected], and to allow Cubo Markets a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve such concerns before involving any third party. -
GOVERNING LAW
This Cancellation / Closure / Termination Policy forms an integral part of the agreement between you and Cubo Markets, and is governed by the laws of Saint Lucia. Any dispute arising in connection with this Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution and governing law clauses set out in the Cubo Markets Terms and Conditions.
